# Chat

> The streaming assistant conversation behind MESO Assist.

Powers **MESO Assist**, the in-product chat surface.

## Streaming

`/chat` streams its response. The endpoint remains backward-compatible with
non-streaming clients, so an integration that reads the body to completion still
works — it simply waits longer for the first byte.
