# MESO documentation

> Guides for teachers, schools and publishers, plus the developer API reference.

MESO is an AI-assisted planning platform for Irish post-primary schools. It
turns curriculum learning outcomes into unit plans, lesson plans, rubrics,
assessments, classroom resources and slide decks, aligned to the Irish Junior
Cycle and Leaving Certificate specifications.

Start wherever you fit.

## How the platform is shaped

MESO exposes one endpoint per **capability** — a complete domain job such as
"plan a unit" or "build a rubric", rather than a CRUD resource. The nine MESO
products — Planner, Assist, Align, Think, Present, Assess, Organise, Resource
and Canvas — are surfaces over those capabilities, not separate APIs.

If that distinction matters to you, you are probably a developer: start at the
[API reference](https://docs.mesolab.ai/api-reference/introduction.md).
