# Cohort activation

> Check how many of your teachers have activated and completed setup.

**Settings → Workspace → Cohort**, visible only to administrators.

This view answers one question: how far along are the teachers you have brought
onto MESO?

## The four headline figures

| Figure | What it counts |
| - | - |
| **Accounts** | Every account in your cohort |
| **Activated** | Accounts that have redeemed a signup code and can use MESO, shown as a percentage of accounts |
| **Awaiting a code** | Signed up, but not yet activated |
| **Revoked** | Accounts whose access has been withdrawn |

"Awaiting a code" is the one worth watching during a rollout. A teacher sitting
there has an account but cannot plan yet — they need the signup code. See
[Access approval](https://docs.mesolab.ai/schools/access-approval.md).

## Onboarding and consent

Below the headline figures, three progress bars, each shown as a count and a
percentage of all accounts:

* **Completed profile setup**
* **Ambassador programme consent**
* **Analytics consent**

> [!NOTE]
>
> Profile setup is optional and can be dismissed, so completion always trails
> activation. A gap between "Activated" and "Completed profile setup" is expected
> and is not a sign that anything has gone wrong.

## What these numbers are not

They are activation and onboarding figures, not usage analytics. They tell you
who has got onto MESO and how far through setup they are.

They do **not** tell you how much anyone has planned, what they have planned, or
how often they sign in. An administrator cannot see another teacher's units,
lessons, resources or conversations — see
[Roles and visibility](https://docs.mesolab.ai/schools/roles-and-visibility.md).
