Everything on this page lives under Settings → Workspace → Members. That tab appears only if your profile is marked as an administrator; teachers do not see it. There are two ways to bring a teacher onto MESO, and they can be used together.

Email invitations

Paste a list of addresses and send. The list can be separated by commas, semicolons, new lines or spaces — a roster copied straight out of a spreadsheet or an email client will parse. Addresses are lowercased and checked for plausibility before anything is sent. Each address comes back with its own result, so a single malformed entry does not silently sink the batch. You get a count of how many were invited and how many failed, with a message against each failure.

School signup codes

A signup code is tied to your school’s name and can be handed to staff directly — in a briefing, a staff email, or on a slide. A teacher who signs up and enters the code is activated immediately. Generating one asks for a single thing: the school name it should be recorded against. Each code carries: You can deactivate a code and reactivate it later. Deactivating does not affect teachers who have already used it — they stay activated. The twenty most recent codes for your school are listed, newest first.
Codes are the more practical route for a whole-staff rollout. Invitations suit adding one or two people later in the year.

What an invitation does not do

An invited teacher still has to create their account, redeem a code, and complete their own seven-step setup before they can plan anything. Sending the invitation is the first step of four, not the whole job. See Access approval for what happens between signing up and being able to work, and Cohort activation for how to check who has got there.
